Senan was chosen through the Cumann na mBunscol trials to represent the school at the All Ireland Football Final between Mayo and Kerry. This was a huge honour for Senan and everyone associated with the School and Club. Senan travelled down with his family and met the other boys and girls who were to play. He was given a Mayo jersey and would play at half time of the big game.

As always Senan played with heart, skill and class during the game, topping it off with a well taken goal!

The Mayo team must have been inspired by Senan as they went on to win their first All Ireland in 75 years!
